In 2017, Five Wells Construction met with American Superconductor (AMSC) to discuss their current manufacturing and office requirements. AMSC was the property owner of 64 Jackson Road Devens, MA and was looking for a new efficient manufacturing headquarters and facility due to changes in their manufacturing process.
Five Wells Identified a former food manufacturing facility that was being vacated. Working with AMSC and the local government, Five Wells renovated and relocated AMSC to its new state-of-the-art home at 114 East Main Street Ayer, MA.
As part of the transaction, Five Wells purchased 64 Jackson Road. After the relocation of AMSC, Five Wells renovated 64 Jackson Road for an existing tenant of the Five Wells portfolio.
